VSA Tennessee opens opportunities for young artists to compete and earn recognition for their exceptional talents at the state and national levels. Here are a few annual events. Watch our news section for additional opportunities each year.
CVS CAREMARK "ALL KIDS CAN" CALL TO CREATE
Each year, CVS Caremark holds a Call to Create as part of their "All Kids Can" initiative. VSA Tennessee partners with CVS Caremark in this Call, inviting students with and without disabilities to submit original artwork. Across the nation, thousands of students participate. Two pieces of art are selected from each state to be included in a national touring exhibition that debuts in Washington D.C. The missions of VSA Tennessee and CVS Caremark's "All Kids Can" have a mutual purpose to improve the lives and learning of children with disabilities. Together, we give students the opportunity to create, share and be recognized for their artistic achievements—perhaps on a national platform. Look for dates and details for the Call here.
